To be confused with Captain Anonymous.
Anonymous prepares, unheralded, for the front lines in battle circa 20 A.D. Though his position is unknown, he is believed to have taken the others by surprise.

Well-known writer and philosopher Anonymous, born in 0 B.C at no fixed address, is legendary primarily for having penned a large number of works unmatched by any other historical author.

He invented Rock Paper Scissors and collaborated with G. Samuel Blog in the early development of the Internet. In an era of few users which marked the early development of the online Letters to the Editor format, Anonymous was to keep the medium alive by making Anonymous comments on thousands of topics ranging from aardvarks to zymurgy.

Political role[edit | edit source]

Anonymous has had a long history of taking positions for and against every key question of the day, from politics to religion. While he occasionally sides with The Devil's Advocate and other similar commentators, he is just as often diametrically opposed in position. He also has a long history of making many anonymous complaints, although he has largely chosen not to run for office in his own right.

Charity and philanthropic causes[edit | edit source]

Anonymous has made valuable contributions to too many causes to mention, none of which have been fully and properly acknowledged.

He is also fondly remembered as the founder of Alcoholics Anonymous and Sexaholics Anonymous.
