Forum:Changing the months

From Illogicopedia

Basically this is a topic aimed at everyone, but i thought i would christen the Admin forum as its an admin-ish subject.

Myself and nerd42 where talking about the months of the year and iv found you can change them so I propose that we change the names of the months to something more interesting, but not to things like banana, but things that sound like they could really be real months, so its more convincing, also try to use similar letters to the current names so that they are easy to remember. Post your ideas below please--Silent Penguin 19:54, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

I've thrown together and added a set (plus one more). Mayhaps some could do with a bit of tweaking around; feel free to add another bunch based on them. --Fluffalizer 23:04, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

How about some random ones like those I suggested? Yeah, I know some suck. -- Hindleyite 11:43, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
Here's a garbled-together hybrid. What's up with your bolding of the linebreaks, though? (in the spirit of silliness, I added to the mess by italizing them as well) --Fluffalizer 12:06, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
Heh, I attempted to embolden the months but it clearly failed. Ignore my idiocy. -- Hindleyite 12:10, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
the fourth ones are mine. --MathPoet 12:32, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
Ok then, iv picked out the ones I think are best and put them in bold, What do people thinky?--Silent Penguin 11:22, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
My favourites are Ergust and Octodest. -- Hindleyite 11:37, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
I see you put them in, SP. It ended up an agreeable selection. Now to make an article series on them... (such months no doubt deserve a bit of crackpot lore) --Fluffalizer 13:10, 22 Arply 2007 (UTC)
