Forum:Front page redesign
So I've been fiddling around with the workings of the front page, looking at how it operates and such.
My invitation is thus: please provide us with your ideas for a redesigned front page!
From reading the proposition forum topic, I believe the new design should have a greater emphasis on community - it'd be good to have links to the latest forum topics, the Illogiblog posts and such in there. To this end, it may be nice to redesign the community portal also, you know, jazz it up a bit.
In addition, to make way for the new bits, I say we remove the "yesterday's feature", condense the projects and interlanguage wikis bit down to text links (that would save a load of space). This may require re-jigging some of the other bits.
I really like the layout of the Warcraft Wiki. Is there any way we could copy this without succumbing to New Monaco? Fluffalizer, if ever there was a time you were needed, it is now. -- Hindleyak Converse • ?blog • Click here! 12:42, 18 Octodest 2008 (UTC)
