So, yeah. Put as many songs as you want down for me to listen to. Any number from 1 to 100 songs (if you type a lot). These will be rated from MY opinion though I will think about if someone else would like it though my opinion will be the most important deciding factor. For example, anything by Muse (shut the fuck up, Seppy and Ben), my favorite band, would be a ten yet something by James Blunt would be a one. So I put a scale with songs under each (my favorite songs and such). Expect comments, too. Yep.

Ratings[edit source]

(10.[edit source]
  • Time is Running Out - Muse (favorite. song. ever.)
  • Savior - Rise Against (this was my favorite song until Ginonater introduced me to Muse)
  • New Born - Muse (stretch it like a birth squeeze)
  • The Approaching Curve - Rise Against (weird song with tons of talking parts. favorite song on Sufferer and the Witness and it has a special place in my music-heart)
  • Never Too Late - Three Days Grace (amazing yet popular song on One-X. Best song on the album and best song by them)
  • Sunburn - Muse (THIS SONG IS AMAZING. FUCKED-UP MUSIC VIDEO, CREEPY PIANO LINE, and that last chorus at the end where Matt shouts "hide" at the top of his lungs always gets me)
  • Heaven Knows - Rise Against (their second album. the song is so "hardcore punk sounding" but the meaning is so sad that it must be at 10.)
  • Crazy Rap - Afroman (hilarious.)
(9.[edit source]
  • Somebody Told Me - The Killers (stupid lyrics, amazing synth... great song)
  • Reptilia - The Strokes (I believe I'm the only person who actually knows all of the lyrics to this songs' chorus)
  • Exo-Politics - Muse (alas, more Muse, because they're all I'm listening to at the moment. This song's riff is amazing)
  • The Good Left Undone - Rise Against (the song that got me into Rise Against. Just like Sunburn, the last chorus always gets me)
  • Whereabouts Unknown - Rise Against (as much as I dislike screamo bands, I always find myself shouting the screamo section of this song)
  • Bully - Three Days Grace (weird, talking-esque song about people getting bullied and killing people. My shit)
  • Anna Molly - Incubus (incubus has been a band I've loved forever and this song is amazing)
  • Famous Last Words - My Chemical Romance (don't judge me. Listen to this song without the emo-stigma on it. It's great)
  • In the End - Linkin Park (Linkin Park was my childhood. I listened to Hybrid Theory and Meteora so much and this song is just great.)
  • Debaser - Pixies (I have loved this song for a while. "Rough" vocals, incomprehensible lyrics and an overall great and catchy tune.)
  • Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana (classic song)
  • Man Who Sold the World (Unplugged in New York) - Nirvana (one of the best live performances hands down)
  • Uprising - Muse (Jon mentioned it in his comment so I might as well rate it. This song got me into Muse so I might as well love it.
(8.[edit source]
  • All My Life - Foo Fighters (I feel that One By One is highly underrated and this is the best song on it)
  • United States of Eurasia - Muse (THERE CAN BE ONLY ONEEEEE!!!!!!)
  • Entertainment - I was surprised this never actually was released as a single. great bass)
  • Word Forward - Foo Fighters (one of the two, or more singles on their Greatest Hits album. They're just fucking words)
  • Goin' Down - Three Days Grace (another weird song. This time about a couple who is trying to kill each other)
  • Animal I have Become - Three Days Grace (this is probably a 8.4999999)
  • Ain't No Rest for the Wicked - Cage the Elephant (I do like this song and it is on my iPod. Catchy and a bit like Sublime in parts)
  • Paranoid Android - Radiohead (I really liked this)
(7.[edit source]
  • Guiding Light - Muse (worst song on the album. slightly edging out Undisclosed Desires)
  • Collapse (Post-Amerika) - Rise Against (I do like this song but the Liberal agenda is a bit too obvious)
  • Undisclosed Desires - Muse (this is a 7.35 as Guiding Light is a 6.89-ish)
  • All These Things That I've Done - The Killers (I've got soul but I'm not a soldier)
  • Astro Zombies - My Chemical Romance (I have a soft spot for this one)
  • Time of Your Life/Good Riddance - Green Day (I dislike/hate most of Green Day's stuff but some of their older songs are good)
  • Who's Got the Crack? - The Moldy Peaches (mehsicles)
  • I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor - Arctic Monkeys (good song. I am a fan of the Arctic Monkeys)
  • Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground - The White Stripes (no real comments)
  • It's Not the Fall That Hurts - The Caesars (it was catchy)
  • Creep - Radiohead (meh... slightly overrated. A great/good song)
  • Ulysses - Franz Ferdinand (catchy, upbeat, overall it was good)
(6.[edit source]
  • Starlight - Muse (lowest rated Muse song at about a 6.4 but I round down BITCH. Overrated and too poppy)
  • Audience of One - Rise Against (meh)
  • Bleed it Out - Linkin Park (a decent song from the atrocity known as "Minutes to Midnight")
  • Speed of Sound - Coldplay (pulled this out of my ass, um... decent song. I am kinda a closet Coldplay fan)
  • Drop the World - Lil' Wayne (you weren't expecting this! amazing

(5.[edit source]
  • One - Metallica (average)
  • Welcome to the Jungle - Guns 'N' Roses (decent song. MASSIVELY OVERRATED)
  • TNT - AC/DC (another overrated song)
  • The Good Life - Three Days Grace (really? really? A legitimate rock band is gonna talk about needing to have a good time? what is this the 60's?)
  • The No-No Song - Ringo Starr (if it weren't for this song's stupidity and charm; it would be much lower)
  • War - Sick Puppies (my friend loves them. Average.)
  • Incinerate - Sonic Youth (It wasn't awful.)
  • River Euphrates - Pixies (Um... Something about riding a tiger down the Euphrates River?)
  • Danger! High Voltage - Electric Six (I was a bit distracted by the music video but it was decent)
  • Improper Dancing - Electric Six (I can't seem to find either of the Electric Six's song's that great. Sorry Fishalishalish.)
  • Consolation Prizes - Phoenix (@TReich: This is what "generic rock" is in America. Light, upbeat and awful... this was semi-decent.)
  • Une Annee Sans Lumiere - Arcade Fire (wasn't bad)

(4.[edit source]
  • Everywhere I Go - Hollywood Undead (they have some decent/good songs but this is shit)
  • Bulls on Parade - Rage Against the Machine (not really my style)
  • Last Resort - Papa Roach (he has some really good songs but he failed here)
  • Nine in the Afternoon - Panic! At the Disco (after playing this song 100 times on Rock Band 2 at my cousins' who love it... I hate it)
  • Dammit - Blink 182 (just not a fan)
  • Psychobilly Freakout - Reverend Horton Heat (Guitar Hero 2 obviously)
  • Alright - Supergrass (no... just no...)
  • Animal - Neon Trees (I dunno. I just didn't like it.
(3.[edit source]
  • Detroit Rock City - KISS (don't even get me started on KISS)
  • Downfall of us All - A Day to Remember (a semi-screamo song which is sad because the guy has a good voice without it)
  • Crushcrushcrush - Paramore (awful)
  • New Divide - Linkin Park (ugh... why did you get rid of Mike Schinoda?)
  • Forever - Drake feat. Lil' Wayne, Kanye West, Eminem (Eminem's got some hot rhymes but Drake and Kanye drag this down)
  • Human - The Killers (WHAT THE FUCK WERE THEY THINKING?)
(2.[edit source]
  • I Wanna Rock and Roll All Nite - KISS (the most overrated song ever made. I have more talent than all of KISS combined)
  • State of the Union - Rise Against (whY????)
  • American Idiot - Green Day (this song is mindfuck)
  • Hangar 18 - Megadeth (metal sucks)
  • Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight - Spinal Tap (grammar fail)
  • At the End of the 20th Century - Hikashu (I hope this was a joke, Fishalishalish)
(1.[edit source]

  • A-Punk - Vampire Weekend (Ginonater likes them. AWFUL BAND)
  • Cousins - Vampire Weekend (per above)
  • Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice (yep.)
  • Through the Fire and Flames - DragonForce (Guitar Hero win! TALENT FAIL!)
  • Cotton Eyed-Joe - Who KnowS?? (Awful)
  • Make 'em Say Uhh - Master P (srsly?)
  • Blah Blah Blah - Ke$ha (did you expect anything different, RMS?)

A pool ball grossly related to T3canolis Rates the Music You tell him to listen to simply because he is bored is This chuckbandwagon, maybe you should look there

Uhh... I pick Green. --Fishalishalish 11:29, 24 Yoon 2010 (UTC)

The ranked songs will be color coder for each user so with your first submission, pick a color that is possible on wiki coding. I'm black, by the way. Please submit. I spent like 45 minutes on that above part. It's 4:38am. Thanks.

Frist, I disagree with many of these ratings, nothing from Rise Against cept' State of the Union should be that low, and what hte hell is approaching curve doing way up there? Also, you dun like Undisclosed Desires? that's my fave from the whole album ¬ ¬ Also, Killing in the Name? 1? You're crazy man. —rms talk 15:52, 24 Yoon 2010 (UTC)

Oh, and, er, songs.

  • Colt 45/Crazy Rap (Title varies) by Afroman
  • Pretty much anything by Nirvana
  • Check out Radiohead's greatest hits album, and there is plenty of other great crap throughout all of their albums.
  • Er, moar things by Ke$sha —rms talk 16:10, 24 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
@RMS: You get pink for not choosing a color. --T3 19:33, 24 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
How can you hate on Hangar 18? That shit's off the hook Testostereich(ballsack) 16:14, 24 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
Major taste fail. If it is generic overproduced rock, it gets t3's seal of approval.--Silent Penguin 16:57, 24 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
Ooh, burn.
IMO, Cotton Eye Joe is awesome, but not as good as the Birdie Song. Also the Chicken Song. Best. Tune. Ever. -- Hindleyak  Converse?blogClick here! 17:51, 24 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
Special thanks to RMS and Fishalishalish for actually submitting something! AAAANNNNDDD STFU Seppy. I like what I like. I genuinely to not like metal. Just because I listen to things that are "popular" or by "known" bands and am not someone who listens to underground stuff like you doesn't mean I like "generic" and "overproduced" rock. --T3 19:13, 24 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
So its a coincedence everything you like is overproduced and rock? :P Testostereich(ballsack) 19:22, 24 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
^ Pwnt. Also I agree with Hindley, Spitting Image was a truly brilliant show.--Ben Blade 19:41, 24 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
No it isn't. I really only like rock and the fact that it's overproduced is not my fault. That's like saying that someone's stupid for liking a movie like The Godfather simply because it's popular. Also, in America, Muse is not popular whatsoever. Unless someone is a Twilight fanboy, odds are they've only heard Uprising or Knights of Cydonia. In America, there's not much like Muse or Rise Against. The "overproduced" rock in America is stuff like screamo, pop punk, and pop rock/Nickelback. Maybe in England your idea of overproduced is different but there is barely anything in America that I listed that is overproduced. Seriously. I'm not judging your opinion so please, just don't bother. You don't have to submit anything or even look at this topic. I did something because I wanted to and because I thought it would be fun and not so I could share my opinion and get made fun of for it. And yes, Testicles, I dislike Hangar 18, I'm sorry. Megadeth just isn't me. --T3 20:05, 24 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
looooooool. argument over music taste. but yeahs, i have to go sort of with t3 on this one, just cause we like songs that you guys think blow, doesn't mean we have to get in a big gay debate over it, rather layme i would say P: also, hardly anyone likes muse here, only a sprinkle of people here and there. in america, muse's sound is unique, so seppy shaddap with muse's songs slowly becoming more shitty. even though their latest album is surprisingly lackluster. also, blah blah blah, something about cocks. tea, anyone? —rms talk 20:12, 24 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
Then Don't create an "i'll rate your music" thread, if you can't be impartial.--Silent Penguin 20:15, 24 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
Read the top line. Nevermind that. Thanks, RMS for the submissions (and for sticking up for a nigga for once)... Any more songs? --T3 20:59, 24 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
I did, before i started commenting, all my comments were made in the presence of such knowledge.--Silent Penguin 23:25, 24 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
Okay, then. Um... Let's move on then... Anyone want to submit something?
Ulysees by Franz Ferdinand, that's pretty shweet, and 'Dreaming of You' by the coral, one of my all time favourites. I agree that time is running out is amazing, but muses new stuff is weak. Except uprising. An aptly named song, as it had just that effect on me...ahem--Plant2.png Jonsig.png 00:25, 25 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
Thank you for being levelheaded. I do see how people dislike Muse's new stuff as it is very different but I still like it. I dunno. My favorite song on The Resistance is Resistance so... I guess you could say I like the piano-heavy and light style they've acquired. Uprising does make me want to go on a rampage against the government as well. As does Assassin but that's probably because it directs me with the line "shoot your leaders down". Like RMS said, though their style may be popular in Britain, there is NOTHING like it here. Listen to Nickelback every day for a year and that's the general idea of "rock". It fucking sucks. Since, like RMS, you didn't pick a color, you will be light blue. --T3 00:41, 25 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
oh right --(ƒî)» 03:23, 6 Jumbly 2010 (UTC)

I think I heard someone mention Afroman about three miles back. His song 'Because I Got High' sums up Illogicopedia in a nice, convenient fit-for-public-consumption manner. Mostly because he is high. Ba da da da da dadada. -- Hindleyak  Converse?blogClick here! 14:12, 25 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
Am I the only one who immediately thinks 'Doctor Who' when they hear The Resistance by Over-Mused--Ben Blade 12:15, 27 Yoon 2010 (UTC)

Um... @FI - I'm gonna listen to your list of songs when I get a chance. --T3 20:28, 28 Yoon 2010 (UTC)
