2. FNYURRE: This dude ought to be an admin so he can declutter and such, help out around the house, so to write. He's a cool mate (because I say he is), has sworn off absinthe, has a good sense of rhythm, he can't stop his leg and has this list of stuff I'm wring this very moment. I'm listening to an as-yet-unheard track of Robert Palmer covering Little Feat's "Spanish Moon". It's pretty good, but I guess having known Lowell George's version intimately since 1975 and having it's exquisite, sublime even, funkiness pile driven into every virtual pore and crevice of my battered carcass has pegged my needle on I like this one better. That being said, I love almost everything I've heard Robert Palmer sing. The white guy in the suit has some soul, for sure. I especially love his collaborations with Little Feat. See, this is what happens when I've smoked enough kif to relax my back, and I take another puff or three. Time to switch it up. I went with Improvisation on Robert de Visee's Menuet II with Larry Coryell, Ralph Towner, Glen Moore and Colin Walcott. Coryell and Towner clearly use technology stolen from space aliens to drive their guitar technique. Walcott is some sort of other-worldly creature who, having studied sitar under Ravi Shankhar (unlike George Harrison, he mastered the instrument) and tabla under this dude with the surname of Khan (I ought to flagellate myself for forgetting the name of a world-class tabla player in his day), weaves time and melody like a goat on fire. Glen More? There is little to be said about this low-end virtuoso of bass guitar and double bass alike. And during that last sentence Joe Cocker is asking us if we're feeling alright... he's not feeling too good himself. Till someone comes along to take his place, with a different name and a different face. I'm pretty sure he wasn't talking about the same thing white supreme-cysts in Charlottesville meant when they chanted that they will not be replaced. I wonder what a suitable replacement for a nazi would be. Beefcake? Rock and roll? A kangaroo? A portable toilet? Gwipshon, yo? The Bebop Tango? I will have to tag along with you guys in making me an admin. If nothing is able to be done, then there would be no real point to Illogicopedia other than a place for vandals to make vile and vapid content, which in turn lowers the experience of other users who wish to use Illogicopedia correctly. 01:11, 11 Octodest 2017 (UTC)

There are a few problems with that

1. I asked for adminship a long while ago for the exact same reasons why you guys want me to be admin, but the bureaucrats never got back to me.
2. User:XY007 was made admin not too long ago, so at best we should wait a little longer (unless the vandal situation gets progressively worse).
3. If it isn't that that we would have to wait for, then it will be the ridiculously long response-time from the bureaucrats.
4. I am an impatient person by nature, so I don't know how well I'll be able to put up with drama or disagreements among registered users that could occur in the near future. Hopefully I don't have to encounter those problems anyway.

Those are the sorts of sounds made by a now extinct comic character, Bill the Cat. His purpose in life seemed to be the prolific creation and distribution of hairballs. Twoandtwoalwaysmakesafive, on the other hand, has accomplished much more in his life than the same. He received the Noble Prize for Noble Pursuit of Nobility. He was knighted in 1974, promoted to Arch-Count of Mollycoddle County, West Virginia (mostly due to his username) in 1976, cited for bravery while not under fire during the 1981 Pig-dog War in Outdonesia, bamboozled by a wild pack of belching hyenas while moderating the 1982 presidential debates, invented the internet in 1986, ate Hawaiian pizza exclusively for 4 months during the Ukrainian Flatulence Crisis of 1998 and is an active, cool dude here at Illogicopedia. I think he deserves the honor and duties of adminship, and will fart in the general direction of anyone who disagrees. ?What do you say, XY007? Shall we appeal to the bureaucrats? Concerns

I'm not sure someone who flips out and goes repeatedly pinging everyone on IRC, including non-admins, including people in other channels (#uncyclopedia), despite being repeatedly told this is not helpful, is of a particularly apt temperament for adminship. While my interactions with this user have shown his dedication, they have also shown him to be unreliable when it comes to learning from mistakes, which could lead to much larger problems from an admin.

Okay, I will concede to your observations and concerns, as I may indeed lack a proper temperament to be an admin. However, there still needs to be someone capable of warding off vandals when no other admins are around, which happens to be the same time that I am around. If I am not the ideal candidate for adminship, then perhaps User:Cg098 is. If it isn't me that fights off vandals, it's him, and he has demonstrated a remarkable efficiency at counteracting their efforts. What's even more commendable is that he does this using the Undo function since he is not (yet) a Phantom.

I am fully aware of the fact that I neglect to heed the one-ping rule on IRC (in fact, I knowingly disregard that rule most times. I'm sorry, Athyria.) and that is because I get flustered whenever the vandal is simultaneously wreaking havoc on Recent Changes as I spastically attempt to grab ahold of an admin on IRC. The longer the vandal persists, the more frustrated I get, so hormonally challenged me thinks that the only way to alleviate this is to type the name of an admin (mostly Isarra) ad nauseum. What's worse is that prior to the onset of Louis LOL, I cat tall the dark (Butthurt Vandal Version), and Ivo/The Wanker, I was still doing practically the same thing with more virulent vandals with virtually far less complaining than I do now.

About the not learning from my mistakes part. Yeah, you're right, and this is especially when it comes to education 'n' stuff. I always think I'm on top of things, but then I wind up making a silly and rudimentary mistake in virtually everything I do once in a while. In other facets of my life, I'm practically the same way.

Personally, I would prefer 2+2=5 as admin, since he'll probably have more availability than me. To be honest, I agree that he does have a tendency to be undeferential. At first, I didn't think it would be that much of a problem, but I'll respect Athyria's opinion. If 2+2=5 agrees with her and would rather not be admin, I'll accept his nomination of me. I can easily think of an example of an undeferential person being given high authority via the consent of the governed. However, I would rather use the terms "cynical," "condescending," and/or "blatantly sarcastic" in place of "undeferential." Yes, they are more harsh and demeaning adjectives, and they also tarnish my image, but the unfortunate reality is that they are also more accurate.

With Cg098 saying that Twoandtwoalwaysmakesafive is more likely to be around during the time in question, I’m good with the latter being an admin. As Athyria said, worst case, it can be revoked. I was unaware of the ping thing, but reading this conversation, I feel that giving him the tools to do some good work can alleviate frustration on his part, and encourage discipline.
