Uh, I disagree with a good bit of this. "Ten things you probably didn't know" - I didn't know them either and um I'm still not convinced. Mostly I have a problem with the way you define number 2. People's edits can get written over if somebody else has something they think is better. We shouldn't just expand and expand every article until it's ten miles long but should keep good bits and throw less good bits away. The rule about not deleting stuff was about article / stub submission, not edits to existing articles. --Nerd42 20:35, 19 Ditzimber 2008 (UTC)

Well now you know them. As for 2, thats not the point, the point is we dont actively go out to preserve an article as it is. But seriously, the wiki has moved around alot, its standpoint is different from when it started, i suppose thats just something you will have to deal with personally, rather than trying to force it to be something it isnt.--Silent Penguin 20:42, 19 Ditzimber 2008 (UTC)
Wasn't trying to do that, just saying I think the way this thing's written might need some revising to reflect what actually goes on, or what I've seen going on anyway. I mean, Wikipedia:Wikipedia:Be bold pretty much applies to any wiki project. --Nerd42 20:08, 16 Jumbly 2009 (UTC)
