The Washington Redskins are an American Football team that is most known for honoring Native American culture. The name "Redskins" in no way is offensive to aboriginal Americans, as it is not a derogatory term. I mean, what could possibly be racist about an epithet that exaggerates a skintone and defines a people by it? C'mon!

We will not change our name

Nope. Not gonna happen. That, that would be like asking the Broncos to change their name. Like, Bronco isn't offensive to anyone, just like Redskins. I mean, I've met TONS of Indians who aren't offended by the term "Redskin." Where are they, you ask? Um... being successful at stuff! And enjoying being called a "Redskin."

The name "Redskins" is tradition, though. It's been Redskins for like sixty years. That would be like trying to change the name of America--it can't be done! What are our fans supposed to do? Get rid of all of their Redskins merchandise? I mean, a team, in the history of all sports, has never, ever changed its name, so why do we have to be the first?

If we had to change our name, here are some suggestions we'd have

We would accept changing our name to the...

• "Kikes"
• "Niggers"
• "Gooks"
• "Monkeys" (only if our mascot is a person of African descent)

Those are as far as we're willing to go. Once again, you can see that none of those are offensive, either, so what is really the big deal about "Redskin?"

The Cleveland Indians are fine, too

I mean, seriously! This is fine.

What the hell could possibly be wrong with the Cleveland Indians? Their logo is a perfect representation of an Indian. Who cares if his name is "Chief Wahoo?" He's a Chief! That's honoring Indians!

Fuckin' Obama and his politically correct agenda tryin' to take the American out of America...

Other Sports Teams that need to Change their Names

The New Orleans Saints and the New England Patriots are racist slurs against religious people and political revolutionaries, respectively, and absolutely must be changed right now. Also, the Dallas Cowboys are insulting to boy cows, but it avoids being misogynistic by not choosing to be the Dallas Cowgirls. Really dodged a bullet there.

In the wake of a successful suit against the Green Bay Packers by unions of people who pack things for a living, a new class action suit has been filed against the New York Giants by a number of organizations claiming to represent the interests of tall people avoiding discrimination for being very large.

Raiders and Bucaneers certified by the Thought Police as being OK, despite being offensive against the criminal classes

This one's just weird. It's apparently OK to name your team after criminals for some reason. The Steelers decided that being the Stealers wasn't OK though, so they changed to two "e"s, but that has been getting them in trouble with the American Steelworkers Union recently.

And once the animal rights people get involved, NO TEAM NAMES ARE SAFE!

Why does no one seem to care about the Vikings? They help Odin fight Ice Giants in the off season.

BTW, you know who the boss of the Redskins and Indians is? The Kansas City Chiefs. In every area except football.
