Upon exterospection, it seems that the article page is a straw man, a false flag operation. The real article is on the article's talk page. It's possible this is a phenomenon unique to Illogicopedia.

It is certain that some cabal is behind this devious perpetration upon the gentle users and guests here, but there is no clear evidence as to which one. Lightbulbists believe it is the Illuminati, Warists think it's Mossad, Zeroastrianists are convinced it's a joint task force consisting of Freemasons, some of Karl Rove's friends, Aerosmith, Gurkas and blood descendants of Genghis Khan. Hypotheses abound. Some of these involve space aliens or extradimensional beings. The discussions are amusing and incomprehensible.

The truth is that no one really knows what's going on around here. Clearly there is a puppeteer just beyond our range of perception, making us say and do baffling things. Some of us, seemingly simultaneously, have a strong persistent thought of a gatling gun covered in cat boogers and toothpaste. These last for hours and make it impossible to concentrate on our work here.

It's possible that this is an unintended side effect of a deeper, more sinister plan which we cannot even conceive of. Whatever the case, in all cases just look out.
