The individual who uploaded this work and first used it in an article, and subsequent persons who place it into articles, assert that this qualifies as fair dealing with the material under Canadian copyright law. In many cases, the image will be used for purpose of parody and thus qualify as fair dealing in "criticism or review" as the Illogicopedian servers are situated in Ontario, Canada. It may also be used to identify copyrighted or trademarked works. In some cases, the image may be used for critical review. However, the above statement covers this anyway. Fnurdletoot!
