This is a detailing for my idea of a article content slider. The slider can be moved by users up to the point of good, it is a gradual slider (Halfway between two can be selected, users who contribute more than 100bytes the article however may not move the slider (to stop people pushing up their own articles). sizes of articles also lock the article slider in places. If the article is less than 100 bytes it automatically classes as a stub. empty pages are locked at delete. At 250bytes long the article slider allows the average and Good to be selected. The un-selectable section is grey. This area moves with the size of the file up to good, and then cannot be moved further. Only a user with the correct rights may move it further, once the article is in this area, the slider cannot be moved by normal users.
