Greetings! I'm here to show you how simple Chinese could be, it is a most interesting language... Moving on! The pinyin system is devised by modern Chinese linguists to simplify Chinese, not that we weren't doing that already but oh well, you foreigners need some help. Take the sound "wan", you all know how to pronounce Obi-Wan, yes? Now we throw in what makes pinyin pinyin: the "tones". wān is the pinyin of 弯 or 湾 or 豌 which means curve or harbour or pea wán is the pinyin of 完 or 玩 or 顽 which means finish or play or stubborn wân is the pinyin of 晚 or 碗 or 挽 or 惋 or 婉 which means late/evening or bowl or pull(back) or regret or polite wàn is the pinyin of 万 or 腕 which means ten thousand or wrist Scared yet? You better be, hahahahahahhahahahahah!

(Genuine Chinese here! I'm only a beginner at nonsense so suggestions are welcome! I'm have trouble breaking my rigid grammar conditioning which may or may not be a good thing)
