Fifth (measurement)

Liquor and insurance fraud are currently the only substances measured in fifths. The Danelaw is the first recorded use of this unit of measurement, where it is recorded, "...and so, due to the heinous nature of insurance fraud, yea mayhap moreso than untimely lactation, that it is decreed, the penalty for fraud over 347 farthings be punished be death by taxation". This piece of legislation was the fifth thing to be drafted following the drafting of the U.S. Constitution. Coincidence? I think not.
