As an aside, do not be fooled by the funky pants. These are not warm, fuzzy guys that would just love to discuss fashion choices with a passing tourist. They are Sûreté du Québec. Kill you, then arrest you, then question you, and if you don't answer, you get charged with resisting arrest.
