He walked into the room, casting aside the suit and tie, and the squeaky-cleanness that went along with it. He was sick and tired of singing sugary teen pop, as he had been for a few years now. Sure, it was nice, have all the girls swoon over him for a few hours at a concert. But the entire time, he felt like something was missing. Upon further reflection, he realized that this "missing something" was authenticity... creativity... genuine self-expression. He wanted to cast away the "teen idol" image he'd carried with him for all these years, and show his true self to the world, and now was the time to do it. He was ready.

Frankie Avalon was going to go Death Metal.

Chapter 0.5: New Beginning[edit | edit source]

Frankie finally had four songs for his new pure-metal EP. All the songs were written entirely by Frankie himself, which was a good feeling for him. Previously, all his songs had been written by somebody else. He looked down at the papers, his smile absolutely beaming, pride visible on his face. All Frankie had left to do was take the songs to the studio and start recording.
