Gas is a highly technical term for molecular particles that are ejected from bums. It is even more formal than the term flatulence, a word that the Android's autocomplete feature apparently doesn't think would be very common in everyday usage.

With 22 years of experience in human society, I have observed that there is great variation in gas. They have genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, glycomics, transcriptomics, and microbiomics, but not gasomics. Gasomics would greatly benefit the human body of knowledge.
