You walk south for what seems an interminable time. You're sure it must be dark outside by now. It also seems like you must have walked out from under the building, under the river, and into the next state by now.
But the map said to go this way, and Tom Mayfair gave you the map, so this must be the right way to go.
You keep walking.
After a few days of this, you collapse; you are dying of hunger and thirst.
