IllogiNews:Man Sues Baker over "False Advertising"

Today an Ann Arbor man Tom Peterson has sued Reggie's Bakery and Coffee House for false advertising regarding their donuts.

In an interview, Tom had this to say,

"I went there to pick up some donuts for my three sons and I got what on the menu was a 'baker's dozen'. He then gave me thirteen donuts. I was outraged. He tried to convince me a baker's dozen was thirteen, like that's true. I asked for my money back and walked out."

When we asked him why he is suing he had this to say,

"I just don't want this to happen to someone else. It's a joke. You can't go around, expecting people to know something that only applies to one store. I'm not an idiot; a dozen is 12, not 13. This is a complete disgrace and should never happen again to anyone."

Tom also later added that he hopes store owner Reginald Garry ends up in jail,

"He should be behind bars. He clearly made me pay for an extra donut. He can't bullshit me and say he didn't purposely put an extra donut so people would pay for a donut they didn't even want."

Reginald Garry's attorney advised Reginald not to speak publicly about the case but did release this statement,

"My client is not advised to talk about the case but all we can say is we are currently working out a court date."

Reggie's Bakery and Coffee House has been closed until further notice.
