Every IP address belongs to a particular IP range (technically several ranges). When you see IP ranges, they are normally shown as a normal IP address followed by a forward slash and a number (ex. 1.77.33.0/24). The smaller the range, the bigger the number; the bigger the range, the smaller the number. The numbers go from 0 to 32, with the amount of users on the range increasing as the number decreases closer toward 0.
