Intensifying sentences is when you want to divert the attention of discussion members.

To intensify sentences, bold the last 2 (approximately) words in the sentence. By doing this, one is able to set a dramatic tone.

Reasons for intensifying sentences may include:

  • Unusually important points that you really require intensification;
  • The desire to instill a feeling of intensity into the other discussion members; or
  • Perhaps you're just in a really intense mood.

Example[edit | edit source]

<yessopie> So I went to Walmart today, and did all my shopping.

Warning[edit | edit source]

Do not attempt to analyze intensity. Definitely do not focus too strongly on the word intense or it will lose all intensity. And that would be a real problem.
