Lipogram
A[edit | edit source]
You know, there's something which informed me sobre this poem in verse. 'Tis one of the weirdest: one poem with no use of the first letter in order!
I'm sure it will turn up soon, but until then, I suppose we've got to get used to it. Hey? First letter? First letter? Where is your endroit?
Indeed, French is one wonderful word group.
B[edit | edit source]
Incidentally, it seems we found the A, however we have also lost the second letter in order! What is with all the letters suddenly getting lost? You know, we need all twenty-six to write, so if one goes missing, we all get panicked. Is this normal? What's going on? Incidentally, there's no foreign words in this passage.
Are there now?
C[edit | edit source]
Wait? We found B? So, we've got A, and B, no wait, there's a pattern. Is the third letter missing?
This is a disaster. I'm sure we have to take up arms. Weaponry? Is it there, in the arsenal? Have we got our guns? We're going on a missing letter hunt.
A missing letter hunt? Oh no. Why didn't we try that before?
D[edit | edit source]
Oh my, we must work on this. As soon as one letter gets back to us, another goes missing!
This time, I'll assume it's the fourth alphabetical letter. It's a grammar emergency! Call the police? Are we sure they're the right people? Have they the expertise about missing letters? The alphabet rests in the balance.
E[edit | edit source]
Right. This is not good.
This is bad, in fact.
A part of a word, is again missing. Fifth.
And not only is it missing, it is a most common part of a word, which is in so many words, is missing.
Now, humans cannot contact quills. This is big. A global manhunt? Oh, what's going on? Found it? Right.
Now, I know it. Again, a part of a word (sixth?) will go missing.
F[edit | edit source]
At least we got the E back. It was agony, having to change the word choices, because we didn't have the most common letter in the English language!
This one is much less common, and that's lucky.
And it is the sixth letter, which we need to make a search. A search, a search! Have you got it? Alas, that may not be so...
G[edit | edit source]
Oh no, the seventh letter has departed from us!
I knew from the moment I woke up that this was no ordinary day. A bad event would be in occurrence today. And what did I obtain? This! A mystery the likes of which the world has never seen! Departed letters?
H[edit | edit source]
Well, a second problem awaits us to solve.
A second problem? No, it is first up. A problem concerning left letters. Not left as in direction, but left as 'to leave'. Number after seven? Number of letter. So problematic, we see. I don't even know.
I[edit | edit source]
That letter has come back to us. Now we have another problem, now more annoyed. A vowel? Vowels are the base. The alphabet stands on vowels. And when one has left us, we cannot do that.
Keep the search! Keep! Keep! Keep! We must search for the word part.
J[edit | edit source]
I suppose the letter that is missing is one of the least common, so we could do without it. But are we going to do without it? Of course not! We must hunt, find, search. The alphabet suddenly becomes difficult if even one component of it is missing, so that's something to think about. Let's work!
Wait, where's my assistant? Did he run away?
I hope not. The tenth letter must be found. I'm guessing it'll be the eleventh letter next?
K[edit | edit source]
I was right.
The eleventh letter.
It's sequential, so you can tell. First it was the first, then the second, and so on, and now it's the eleventh.
The Police Department responsible for searching for these letters is getting bothered by it. We all are. I believe we've had enough.
NO! NO! DON'T STOP THE SEARCH YET!
L[edit | edit source]
Dear, this is a more common one.
What is it with these word parts? Just as hard as finding the missing word parts is to figure out why they went missing in the first endroit! We've had a team of detectives work hard on it for the past two weeks! Not yet, nothing has been found.
Tea break? No, not now. Green? It doesn't use the missing word part.
M[edit | edit source]
I forgot which letter is gone. was it eleventh? or thirteenth?
Anyway, I doubt another letter after L is gone vanished.
This is such a bad event. we need to fix this now.
or, well, wait until the Z disappears.
N[edit | edit source]
hmm, wait.
what if A disappears after Z? like a cycle?
We have to solve this mystery.
I hope the rare letter disappears after this.
O[edit | edit source]
Disaster, Disaster, Disaster!
as I think, this is the bad thing.
A sign.
A sign that everything will missed at any time.
I'm afraid.
My detectives are finding, sure.
But... what if All alphabets just vanishes at the same time?
P[edit | edit source]
Not a vowel, but, this is a bit difficult one.
The O one, it was awful.
I was a bit scared, silly me.
My detectives and I will do it.
Find the letter no matter how long it takes, how hard it to finds..
We will do it.
Q[edit | edit source]
Finally, some break.
I am so glad I can finally rest.
what, something is missing? no!
see? I can speak perfectly fine!
what? Kew?
What is it?
nah, we can change it to K.
but seriously, who needs that letter?
It only goes before u, why not just change it to something else?
Okay, fine.
break is over.
R[edit | edit source]
this is quite a job!
Well, Q one was easy to find.
I still hope that Q gets changed.
Anyway, time to find a eighteenth alphabet!
S[edit | edit source]
Oh, nineteenth alphabet.
We cannot write the word, the non-plural form of 'are'.
We cannot even write Banana!
Wait, we can.
T[edit | edit source]
is is is is is. Ah, good.
I can use 'is' again. however,
a harder one is here.
we are lacking nearly every words.
I can Hardly say any words.
Oh no. we are Searching everywhere. quickly!
Hold on, I used Q. AAARGH!
U[edit | edit source]
Better than any other Vowels, still a hard one.
I'm glad we got T back. haha, teabag.
My detectives looks tired, so I gave them a vacation.
so, it's my lonely searching.
It's fine. the letters following are:
V,W,X,Y,Z.
they will do not-so-great harm to my speaking.
V[edit | edit source]
haha, easy letter!
well, we cannot use the word E*ery. sure!
But, it's not that big of a deal.
I'm in some hotel, Drinking lemonade.
there's no twenty-second letter, therefore, no tax!
Noice.
W[edit | edit source]
hmm. this?
I don't get it. I thought this letter too, is easy.
it's not that easy to speak, this letter just ruined my speaking ability!
Oh god. I'm calling my detectives right this moment.
X[edit | edit source]
yes, Detectives are retired. I'm back to my normal life.
Blue sky, green land, beautiful language.
Well, we cannot say who made this article, though.
Y[edit | edit source]
oh, this letter?
well, it's a little bit uneasy, but it's not that hard.
Look! there it is!
wait... don't flee! come back!
aww, dangit! i gotta be more careful.
Z[edit | edit source]
hmm?
Oh no.
the people cannot sleep without this letter!
i thought this was the easiest!
Z is keep missing[edit | edit source]
I rehired my detectives.
Find the last letter of the alphabet! QUICK!
Come out, Come out, wherever you are![edit | edit source]
Oh no. that letter is genius at hiding.
normally, we finds it in less than a day.
but, this is hard.
We searched every buildings, farms, ocean, and even outer space!
I cannot believe the least worried letter makes me worry the most.
There is Z! quick![edit | edit source]
My detectives and I am running as fast as we can.
It is quite a fast letter.
Oh no. it hide again.
we lost him.

Many lipogrammatic books lack this glyph. Amazing.
EA[edit | edit source]
This is no good. Millions of words not OK. This is notoriously ridiculous.
ETAOIN[edit | edit source]
Fuck! Fucky glyphs.
ETAOIN SHRDLU[edit | edit source]
