Max Headroom
Max Headroom was some cool-ass (yet still somewhat cheesy and weird) 80's television series that only lasted for a couple of years. It's a partially American and partially British TV series. Ya diggin' it, man!? It was created in the U.K. by a husband and wife duo that we don't even care about. The main character, Max Headroom (portrayed by American actor, Matt Frewer, while also wearing some barely visible makeup), was a stuttering spazz dude with blonde hair and (obviously) a very bad case of Tourettes. He lived inside a computer animated TV screen world in Sci-Fi junky junk food Las Vegas soda pop computer screen insanity batshit bastard's retromaniac land.
He even had a No. 34 U.S. hit single with the Fart of Noise with 1986's, "Paranoimia". It was an experimental New Wave and dance music song. Truly cool stuff! Ha!
New Coke Campaign[edit | edit source]
It fucking sucked, and it fucking failed. There. I'll fucking leave it at that. PEPSI GENERATION FTW!
"Catch the wave?" I'd rather not, thank you.
Broadcast Signal Intrusion Event[edit | edit source]
In 1987, some clever jackass interrupted the airwaves of 2 Chicago television stations while wearing a Max Headroom mask. He has never been caught to this very present day. CRAZY!!! Oh, and also, he got his bare ass spanked by a flyswatter at the end as well, so there's definitely that! LMFAO.
