The United Steaks of America is a group of cows dedicated to campaigning for vegetarianism in North America. All kinds of bovine are eligible for entry to the organisation, though since cows are the most likely to be eaten, membership stands at 97% cow as of early 2011. Yaks, for example, taste horrible, though desperate travellers are likely to hunt them every once in a while - 1.4% of members describe themselves as yaks or of yak parentage. The remaining 1.6% have most likely been made into beef burgers.
