It's dark under there, and it smells bad, kind of like it did when you forgot that plate of lasagna under there last Christmas. You stick your head under to try to see if there's anything that shouldn't be there, and you suddenly feel tentacles around your neck.
No, you think, it's just a necktie which needs washing....
Nope, they're tentacles! Whatever owns them gives a mighty heave and you find yourself sliding under the bad, right into the heart of the stench.
There's a hole in the floor here. You plunge down the hole, and land in something squishy.
One good thing: As you fell down the hole the tentacles lost their grip.
Another good thing: It smells a lot better down here. The squishy stuff has a funny sweet smell.
