Zipedia:Mu Continent

Mu Continent is a fictitious continent that is said to have existed in the south-central part of the Pacific Ocean. It was claimed by James Churchward and others.

Currently, its existence has been scientifically refuted by the results of multiple investigations. Since it has been scientifically refuted, there are "rational interpretations" that claim that Mu Continent was in fact a "maritime empire" like the Great Emirate of Tonga, but there are problems with the claim itself, and that adding a rational interpretation based on it is meaningless.
