The Sun is the so-called fixed star that is closest to the Earth. A "fixed star" should be a fixed star because it does not move on the celestial sphere, but since the Earth is a planet, there is confusion over the terminology. Under the geocentric model, the Earth was the center, but since the heliocentric model became widespread, it is considered to be the center of the solar system. Therefore, the planets in the solar system revolve around the Sun. It is the only fixed star that makes up the solar system. Therefore, the solar system is not a binary star system.
