“Time does not wilt backwards, but rather, forwards. As a tree might.”

~ Oscar Kristalnach

When discussing notions of "gendered occultism" within pre-determined narratives as a monk, you always fall into the same cliches. Lyotard put it in his usual fragrance as when "the hegemonic system redeems itself, almost irreducibly to a socratic fudge."

Unpacking (literally) this theme of gendered debates on the outer layer of the current programming schedule, but also its inner B side, produces the unwanted effect of problematising itself. Oscar worked within the prudent constraints of 19th century taxidermy, using essays to figuratively "pull the sheeps own wool over itself". This may indeed be sexist.
