Thy hast is beard is yet another nonsensical Dead meme from 1994. It was the 5th Internet meme ever ( not counting emoticons or LOL, as they are Internet phenomena ), and was first found on a BBS, where it was a common catchphrase. It was a nonsensical sentance which was used to convey that they found something humourous. The first post used it as a silly and slightly funny way to end a rant at another board user, who claimed that a post the user said he laughed at was unfunny because it was random humour. However, any instances after it was used, Thy hast is beard lost all meaning and just became a random way to end an otherwise serious post. Depending on who you ask, it was either a stupid meaningless sentence which was the early 1990's equivalent of EVERYDAY I'M HUSTLIN', or one of the earliest examples of Internet winning arguments such as NO U or Your argument is invalid. Popularity

It soon became a hugely popular phrase on Usenet and IRC. It stopped being popular around 5th September, 1997. Eventually, it was paid tribute to on Something Awful in 2004. The joke had become mildly popular again due to the fact that only an absolute oldfag could ever understand any of it, and even most non-n00bs will often fail to fathom out how this joke works or where it comes from. And due to it's obscurity exept when some oldfag brings it up, no amount of lurking will EVER help you, because they're certainly not telling.

About the OP

Kiko4564 first started out using the internet in 1992, and stopped around November 2004. Some people say he commited Suicide, or he just stopped being interested in the Internet. On December 31st, 2010, Kiko4564 logged in again on the Illogicopedia BBS, to which much "welcome back" was recieved. He is now very active on Uncyclopedia.org as of Novelniver 18, 2023, and any mention of Thy hast is beard will flatter him secretly. He is now considered an Oldfag due to the fact he has had his screenname since the very early days of the Internet.
