George Washington Bunny (1940-2016)

Early Life[edit | edit source]

Bugs Bunny was born in Brooklyn, New York just where Al Jolson lived. His life was always revolved around Granny who was 99 at the time. He would play with his other Looney Tune friends when he was young. When he was only 3 1/2 years old, he became a Vaudeville star and never grew to be 4 years old...ever!

Vaudeville[edit | edit source]

Bugs Bunny joined with Al Jolson in Vaudeville where he became one of the Minstrels in the Minstrel Show. However, it was a Middle Ages-type of Minstrel Show. After that fiasco, Bugs Bunny went to Jewish theater and did other types of Vaudeville such as juggling, barber shop quartets, and other forms of Vaudeville acting.

Broadway[edit | edit source]

Bugs Bunny got a hit spot in 1910 as the Boys From Chorus. You know....

Oh we're The Boys From Chorus

We Hope You Love Our Show.

We know you're rooting for us,

But now we have to go!

Bugs did this gig for 30 years...until Hollywood Star Elmer Fudd discovered him in Cantral Park with Al Jolson, Jack Benny, Eddie Cantor, and Bing Crosby. Elmer knew Bugs Bunny at the time when he was a baby. Elmer Fudd played the one who would throw pies, spray seltzer water, and even pull Bugs Bunny's hat in the comedic duo.

One night Bugs Bunny made Elmer Fudd the Fall Guy...and people loved it more than the other way. Except for Elmer Fudd who almost killed Bugs Bunny, until Bugs said "What's up Doc" for the first time. Everyone loved it sooooo much that both Bugs and Elmer became stars on Broadway.

Hollywood[edit | edit source]

After Graduating from Acme Looniversity, Bugs Bunny debuted in "Wild Hare" where both Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny starred in. After that, Bugs Bunny had a 60-year run in Hollywood. Bugs Bunny's fame would last until 2003 when he debuted in a movie called "Looney Tunes: Back in Action". Since no one gave a damn, Bugs spant the next 6 years eating carrots.

Bugs Bunny now can be found...in Albaqurque. He finally took that left turn and never turned back! (This is shown on that TV Show that will be on Cartoon Network this fall).

Death[edit | edit source]

Bugs Bunny died in 2016, when a car ran over him and he had no immunity. Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, and Yosemite Sam would be happy, but they all died before that.
