Cala tân is a modernised version of the traditional Welsh song Calon Lân developed by the Treorchy Male Voice Choir. The choir felt that the message of the original lyrics was a worthy one but was unlikely to resonate with modern society, so they created a new message designed to appeal to more modern sensibilities.
