The Church of the SubGenius is a disorganized religion based on the teachings of the prophet J.R. "Bob" Dobbs, a traveling salesman who communicated with aliens and worshiped money. The church itself is mostly concerned with returning an elusive substance known only as Slack to the Earthly population.

Once appointed the evil task of enslaving all of humanity, Dobbs rebelled against the nefarious conspiracy and organized a counter-movement.

Becoming a minister in the Church consists of paying a $35 fee.
Relationship with Discordianism[edit | edit source]
SubGenius is to Discordianism like Christianity is to Judaism.
