Disappear

To disappear means that someone or something has gone out of existence. In most cases, the object is just replaced or moved to another space without coming back to its previous environment. The verb is the antonym of to appear, an action which is quite unusual for humans, unless you're Barack Obama (who can appear in mid-air in front of the Capitol).

History

Things have been disappearing ever since God gave the humans a mind. It's not a lie.
