Glenn Miller
Glenn Miller was the target of a Nazi operation entitled Pennsylvania Has Lost. This operation consisted of taking him away to be questioned for his roles in boosting US soldier morale.
This was achieved by the planting of some Nazi insects on his plane. According to one general, It's funny because he's bugged. Literally!
He was never seen again.
As for the other two passengers in his plane, they were questioned as to why God had let them live instead of killing them at birth. Their answer was, 'Because not existing sucks.'
This remark led to them being put in jail and tortured until they wished they hadn't ever existed.
Festivals[edit | edit source]
As a result of his disappearance, there was a public holiday in Germany, and a swing festival in the United States, even though they really weren't supposed to be celebrating. Some modern-day swing festivals, as a tribute to Glenn, include a part in which one of the performers in the big band is whisked away and questioned by some rednecks dressed in Nazi uniforms. They then get fed poisoned beer.
