The Amazonian Jungle's Revenge (often shortened to "the AmJR", pronounced "am-jerr ") is one of two known subspecies of feral God's Revenge spiders, residing in the Amazonian jungles of Brazil.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

The AmJR is about as big as a baseball, and looks about the same as a regular male domestic crack spider, except the AmJR has all-black fur. Female AmJRs are noticeably larger than males, usually around 50 to 65 percent larger. Also, the females have white spots on the top side of their spherical abdomen.

Behavior[edit | edit source]

The AmJR is typically very stealthy.

Bite[edit | edit source]

The bite of an AmJR is, of course, painful. But surprisingly, the intensity of the pain depends on the gender of the spider that bit you. For example, the female spiders' venom is stronger than the male spiders'. Of course, both genders' bites hurt, but the female bite hurts more.

Anyways,

Female's Venom[edit | edit source]

The female's venom is more intense than a male's venom. In fact, scientists have discovered that the female's venom and bite is most intense, dangerous, and painful while she is either pregnant, giving birth, or taking care of the baby spiders. They also discovered that the venom can peak for a week each month. Scientists have not yet discovered the reason for this.
