In a shocking turn of events, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists have set the time of the Doomsday Clock— a symbolic cold war era clock that represents how close humans are to the end of civilization— to -100 seconds to midnight.

"We are living in a time of unprecedented danger, where a catastrophe can occur any minute anywhere in the world, and so we are on the brink of annihilation.
