Nothing is going on today, so I have decided to help you visualize Bigak a bit more by describing the Brick. The Brick is a circular brick road, going around the King's House. The six houses are along it, plus this big space. The people are confused by this unwanted space, but Matláti insisted during the construction on having it there.

A man reported to the king saying that he had been walking along, very hungry, when an ear of corn fell from the sky and landed in his arms.
September 11[edit | edit source]
There is talk of "expanding the kingdom." Matláti has been very busy on the Brick today, talking to the people about it. He has been saying that it is impossible to expand the kingdom if the only thing it has to start with is 29 people. "But what if the city grows?" people often say. Matláti responds by saying that he knows it will eventually, but he thinks it will take a long time for the city to grow enough for expansion, perhaps millennia.
