Just then, Blorg went flying through a dimensional portal. This was a result of the story being taken over by a new author who was unfamiliar with it and was trying to hide that from the reader while keeping the plot moving.
"Oh, no!" said Blorg. "I'm flying through a dimensional portal! That must be a result of the story being taken over by a new author who's unfamiliar with it and is trying to hide that from the reader while keeping the plot moving!"
Well, that failed, thought the author. I guess!
What did you say? said a lemony voice inside his head.
Nothing, he replied.
I'm your alter ego! said the voice inside his head. He ignored it.
