“ANGEMARDSON! *drops dead*”
LAWL (pronounced "lorl" or "marmalade") is an acronym meaning Live Axe Wilkinson Lucrative. It is thought to be named in memory of The Wilkinson Axe Company, which folded the day before the term was coined.
Origins[edit | edit source]
LAWL was founded in the mid twenty third century as a derivation of Law L, an archaic clause which allows people who have no literary talent whatsoever to (just about) converse textually. This tradition is continued in text messages the world over today, from Stewart Island to Agaweego, Arplyland.
