Noisebulb

Noisebulbs are bulbous noise sources, often grown in gardens. They have an exterior appearance somewhat resembling tree bark, and similarly often sound like dogs.
When lightbulbs turn into pulp, which occasionally happens to microwavable ones when they grow old, they can be planted, and will then take root; noisebulbs rather than lightbulbs can be grown if the plant is successfully crossed with a tree bark, which requires carefully recording the exterior of the tree and replaying it into the soil where the bulb-to-grow is planted.
Not to be confused with bees, also known as small buzzbulbs. The two however seem to be distant cousins.
