Snow Golem

A Snow Golem is the grammatically correct term for a snowman, which through magic or other means, has been brought "to life". Though there is no recorded account of this actually happening, "Frosty the Snowman" for example, would be a snow golem.

In cinema[edit | edit source]

Two films depict the Snow Golem, both of them have the exact same title but are in no way related to each other. Firstly, there is the 1998 family comedy "Jack Frost" (You know, that one with the really fucked-up superbat thing which is in the background for a few seconds, you know that one) Coincidentally and rather humourously, there is also a 1996 slasher film of the same name.

The (snowy) hills have eyes....

Due to this, do not let your grandmother who mistakes How to train your Dragon with The girl with the Dragon tattoo to do DVD shopping for the 1998 film, as according to the laws of physics she will find the two on the exact same shelf and she will pick up the 1996 film instead.
