Third Great Human Empire
The Third Great Human Empire was by far the worst and shortest of the earth empires, lasting only fifty-two years before becoming a union for the flourishing Threllip Empire. The Eleventh incarnation of the Doctor characterised it as "neither great, nor bountiful, nor overwhelmingly human". The empire existed between 80,062 to 80,114 A.D (R.S.T 4.809 - 4.861). By the early 801st century, the empire had, in the opinion of its own citizens, "gone utterly mad", with war, famine, and deadly plagues in abundance.
This empire was struggling, as the human race tried more in desperation than in choice to find more planets to settle on. With a population of fifty-six billion humans, the galaxies that humanity was accustomed to since the 51st millenium had been plundered already, with many of man's early settlements such as Skyriver and Mutter's Spiral no longer containing enough resources to sustain any form of life for a long while. After many years of pointless conflicts and mass-migration, the then-prospering Vengors allowed the human race access to all the resources and land they would ever need, under the conditions they followed the laws of the Vengor's galactic empire. Because of this, control over a colony on the planet Terra Alpha was given to an insane thatcherist who outlawed sadness and expression.
