Queen Victoria

As a young lass, Victoria was particularly pious.

Queen Victoria is the name I gave to one of my dolls years ago. She wears a dusty green hoopskirt, and has a blonde updo, and sits at the very top of my bookshelf. She presided over superheroes, and a gang of villains who opposed her rule, and who wanted to bring evil disco into the dolly world. Wanted posters of non-doll villains were hung throughout her kingdom, such as the unnamed arsonist who was accused of burning down a fire station, and the unnamed robber who robbed a police station. There was also romance, and espionage going on in her kingdom, and even celebrity subjects in her kingdom. Stuffed animals were treated as equals, and could even talk, but never had romances, except with other stuffed animals. Her kingdoms contained a computer that looked suspiciously like a microscope, and another was a round battery-operated electronic toy with a retractable cover, and a third looked suspiciously like a red electronic Merlin (you can sometimes find them on ebay nowadays). New dolls always entered through the Golden Door, which looked suspiciously like gold crayon drawing with a silver doorknob. But memories fade, and the stories we don't write down are the ones that are soon forgotten.
