Crazy Joe and the Variable Speed Band were an 80's novelty "band" project created by New York City based radio dj, Joe Renda. They had a minor hit single with the 1980/1981 song, "Eugene" also known as, "IHUHH HELLO, MY NAME IS UGH EUGENE!!!"

Renda mixed cocaine with beer to create his musical project, and honestly that's really all there is to it. Oh and SEX. LOTS of sex. And misogyny too. LOTS of misogyny and sexism, ya dig? They broke up by 1982. Nothing else, bitches!
