An eyepatch is a contagious patch worn over one eye by pirates to cover a lost or injured eye to protect it. It also has a therapeutic use in treatment of amblyopia, while also spreading it, as well as for spreading amblyopia awareness.
Uses[edit | edit source]
Eyepatches are commonly used to treat pinkeye, lazy eye, and even autism. For amblyopia treatment, the patch goes on the good eye, which is ridiculous.
Association with pirates[edit | edit source]
Pirates are very shy and wear eyepatches to protect their eyes.
