Blottobot and I recently got through removing the {{subcat}} template from Uncyclopedia. We did this because the software automatically lists subcategories before everything else in a category, so having a template to do just that is redundant, and it also removes the automatic alphabetical ordering of subcategories, which you can see here (without alphabetical ordering, with subcat used in the subcats) and here (without subcat).

And now I find out that subcat is also in use here, where our mediawiki is just as up to date, and this isn't making me happy. I'd like to propose that we remove it from here too for the reasons I've just outlined. What do you say? ❦ Flyingcat (meow?)fr: 19:16, 21 Farbleum 2014 (UTC)
