An Acer Aspire 6300 laptop is powering millions of pixels on a screen, rapidly re-arranging themselves while the YouTube kernel screams at my browser to load all its codecs. Meanwhile, a processor is constantly taking video information at a rate of 600 KB/s and a Flash codec is converting it into digital display.

All so I can watch a black guy with a deep voice sing about diarrhoea.
