PREDICAMENT

You utilise the "speed of the puma" which you obtained in return for favours at a Superhero amnesty. You turn back and swear at the confuddled policeman behind you in a Hot Fuzz-esque style; not looking where you're going you trip over a cat and land in a dumpster. The policeman, offended by your hand jesture, pulls out the secret government laser we all know they have and aims it at you. You jump out of the dumpster and assess your options:

Jump out the way of the laser blast and knock the guy out with a spinning back kick

Take the laser blast to the face, roll over and die
