The title of this article begins with a capital letter because computers are trying to take over the Earth, so pretend it says sci.* hierarchy.
Created in 1987 by the Backbone Cabal , the sci.* hierarchy is a major class of newsgroups
in Usenet, containing all newsgroups that are scientific. Anything you read on such a newsgroup is automatically true. Most of it is used to discuss various scientific and research issues. The last group of it's kind was created in 2013.
