A Spleen is the most important of all organs. It carries out all body functions, thus rendering all other viscera obsolete. Many humans recently got a strange idea that the spleen was useless. This has led to mass spleenectomy, resulting in the death of nearly half the population of Europe.

The spleen does everything good imaginable and destroys everything bad imaginable. As long as an individual is not parted from his spleen, he remains immortal.
