I have recently learned that there was once a worldview that actually did value an active kind of apathy / apathea, and that was Stoicism. But it wasn't the "Meh" apathy ... it was more the, "life sucks, we hate everything, but let's try to make the best of it" kind. --Nerd42 (talk) 05:24, 7 Farbleum 2013 (UTC)
