Because of the fact that he/she's australian, and thongs in australian english mean sandals, so yeah, if ICTTD said that, he/she'd be talking about sandals, really.

Well really, I got that meaning from an article about a Bluey episode on Bluey Wiki on W*kia, which mentions that Muffin Heeler said she was wearing her thongs. (sandals) fun fact, CBeeBies censored that part from that episode, because thongs in british english really was the slang for a different type of clothing.

Yes, ICTTD is Australian, but out of all Australians you could have referenced, why ICTTD?

I just somehow heard of him at some point. I then learned that he was making sockpuppets eventually, and that was only just a month ago when I learned this.
